The Code Reviewed
'The Code Reviewed' is a summary of cases published by PMCPA and MHRA.
First published in 2001, it is now used by many pharmaceutical companies, large and small.
‘The Code Reviewed’ is published in three formats. All are published monthly.
The Code Reviewed for Management
This is intended for those who need to be aware of any important issues in relation to the Code, particularly any issues which may impact on company policy or procedures:
- a bullet-point summary of key issues arising from cases published in the previous month by the PMCPA and the MHRA.
- issued usually within the first week of each month.
- published as a Word document.

This is intended for those who need a clear understanding of any issues relating to interpretation or implementation of the Code:
- a succinct summary of all cases published in the previous month by the PMCPA and the MHRA.
- Cases rated in terms of significance
- key learning points and implications provided
- relevant audience clearly identified
- issued usually during the first week of each month.
- published as a Word document.

The Code Reviewed for Training
This is intended for those with responsibility for providing ongoing training on interpretation or implementation of the Code to Head Office or field-based staff.
It consists of two elements:
1. PowerPoint Presentation- a summary of all significant cases published in the previous month by the PMCPA and the MHRA.
- key learning points and implications
- relevant audience clearly identified
- issued usually during the second week of each month.
2. The Code Reviewed for Learning- this summary of cases acts as speaker notes for the trainer

All publications are issued monthly by e-mail, to one email address per subscription. There is no restriction on further distribution within the subscribing company.
'The Code Reviewed' is available by annual subscription with each subscription covering twelve monthly issues - from January to December.
