The Code for Medical Information
The workshop will be presented by Dr Joan Barnard and Andrew Robson
The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with sufficient knowledge of the 2008 Code of Practice
- to undertake Medical Information review of promotional material
- to understand the requirements of the Code in relation to Medical Information activities
- to appreciate Code issues in relation to the Medical Information/Marketing interface
The workshop is designed to be highly interactive. It will include both formal presentation and group work and will provide ample opportunity for questions and discussion.
The workshop will be useful both for new Medical Information staff and for those with some experience. Previous knowledge of the Code of Practice is not essential.
The 2011 dates for the workshop are to be confirmed.
